United States raises the limit for the systolic blood pressure in healthy adults over 60 years
From now on United States drug therapy to treat hypertension should be prescribed to healthy adults over 60 years of age, in the event that persistently present a systolic blood pressure equal to or greater than 150 mmHg. This measure aims to reduce the risk of death, cardiac events or accidents cardiovarculares.
