Throughout August we commemorate the Month of the Heart. This year, Our campaign will not only focus on the prevention of heart disease, but we will also highlight the scientific contribution of ACCDiS researchers who have made important contributions to science during their careers.

August 1st ̶ Dr Speaker's talk. Valentina Parra, ACCDiS researcher and academic at UCH. Location: United Nations College, La Cisterna.

August 5 ̶ Launch of the comic "PichinCO: A journey towards healthy living". Product made by the Explora Región Metropolitana Norte Associative Project and ACCDiS. Location: Faculty of Sciences, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCH.

August 9 ̶ Virtual talk led by Dr. Claudia Bambs, Head of the UC Department of Public Health and ACCDiS researcher. Location: live broadcast on the Center's YouTube channel.

August 16 ̶ ACCDiS Seminar: Maria Paz Ocaranza, professor at the UC and ACCDiS researcher. Location: Virtual Event, Registration available soon.

August 26 ̶ Practical "Getting to know the cells” directed by Leslye Venegas, PhD student in Biochemistry and ACCDiS postdoc. Location: ACCDiS laboratories.

August 22 ̶ Practical of the Colegio Graneros. Location: ACCDiS Laboratories.

August 27 ̶ School Science Fair “Science & Healthcare” organized by the Santa Rosa de Molina Hospital and the Bicentennial High School of Molina. Location: Maule Region.

August 30 ̶ Cerro Navia Science Fair. Stand ACCDiS “Planetary Diet” and Workshop for older adults “Chronic diseases”. Location: Cerro Navia.
