The FONDAP center ACCDiS (Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases), whose objective is to understand and prevent cancer and cardiovascular diseases announces openings as post-doctoral fellows for Chileans and foreign researchers. Applications should be submitted from 11/15/2016 to 12/29/2016.

October 17 was the second workshop of integration of the advanced centre of diseases chronic ACCDiS, entitled "science team: "superheroes in action". The activity was held at the Mario Caiozzi Hall of the Faculty of chemical and pharmaceutical sciences, attended by approximately 48 persons, among researchers main, partners, collaborators and post-docs.

Between October 25 and 27 of this year, held the second visit of the International Scientific Committee at the Center for advanced diseases chronic ACCDiS. This time we visited the Dres. Karl Weber and Nelson Durán, experts in the area cardiovascular and nanotechnology, respectively.
